Make your cornbread from a mix (box) or use this recipe:


  • Crumbled Cornbread
  • 1 Pkg Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned cornbread stuffing mix
  • 4 chopped boiled eggs
  • oultry Seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Chicken Stock

Mix dry ingredients together thoroughlly, add eggs and enough poultry seasoning, salt & pepper to season (a couple of tablespoons, nothing is raw here, so do it to taste).  Once blended thoroughly, add enough chicken stock to moisten the dressing, turning lightly.  Do not mix briskly, do not add too much stock at a time…this will cause it to turn to “goop.”

Once moist, turn the dressing into a pan and either refrigerate overnight, or put into the oven about 30 minutes prior to serving.  When the tops have reached brown and toasted, the dressing is done!  Sounds easy right?  It is…
